Lessons on Branding

It was fun to search my name on Google. My life looks pretty boring!! A librarian who has participated in the Accreditation Task Force. My time as Rotary President didn't even pop up. There is another Susan who seems much more interesting...a doctor from New Zealand! Perhaps she thinks its interesting that there is a a Susan M who is a librarian in Iowa...isn't that where they grow potatoes??  HA!!
I'm more concerned about my college age kids and Facebook. Now that they have allowed Mom and Dad as "friends", it seems like they keep postings moderate!

It seems like I should be able to type cpd23 in the search box and get a list of librarians participating in this program. Did not seem to work. Seems to only search within one person's blog. Carry on!!

Professional Participation

I started out thinking, "I should do this"...delete. And then I came back to the link and thought, "No, I really should do this." After five years as Library Director at a small public library and, geeze, I hate to think of how many years since college, its time to update. After reading a little bit more about what would be covered, I felt that stirring of excitement in the belly! So, here I am!!

As a new blogger, I can hardly imagine anyone would be at all remotely interested in reading this. Though, I have to say, I am interested in exploring what others have to say.
